US equities open broadly flat, as the market has even less motivation to move than yesterday. WTIC has cooled to $74.16, despite the USD -0.2% at 100.92. A break <100 would merit attention. Gold printed $2084

**Special note**
Stockcharts is having ‘issues’, and is literally not updating anything.
There is nothing I can do, other than wait, and maybe just highlight a few things from yesterday.

notable currency: USD, weekly (Dec’26th)

If psy’ 100 is lost… next major support is around 93.
Gold bugs could argue such a 7% drop might see gold x2 > +14% to $2400/2500.

notable commodity: Copper (Tues’ Dec’26th)
A yearly close above psy’ $4.00 would be very significant.

notable gold ETF: GLD, 15min (Tues’ 26th)
I merely wish to note that on a s/t basis, this is over-stretched, and even the bold will NOT be involved. I’m wondering if Thursday opens weak, but then reverses upward.

notable miner: NEM (Tues’ 26th)
Newmont bouncing with the sector, currently +0.7% at $42.18.
I’d see the stock/sector as vulnerable into Thursday.
