sp’60min
Yesterday saw considerable chop, if still managing a fractional new historic high of 3861. S/t momentum ticked lower across the day, settling fractionally positive.
Overnight futures have been increasingly weak, pressured by other world markets. We’re set to open broadly lower to around yellow gap, which appears set to fully fill. First opp’ for a turn… 11am, although the cyclical setup threatens downside into mid afternoon.
There is unofficial news that the Olympics – already delayed from 2020, and scheduled for summer 2021 in Japan, have effectively been cancelled.
However…
Right now, I’m inclined to believe the rumour, rather than the Jap’ govt’. They were the same people who said it would NEVER be delayed from summer 2020.
Indeed, with ongoing societal hysteria, the market has again been reminded that things are far from normal, with the restrictions set to cause problems into the summer.
