… and that concludes Monday. It was a day of cooling, from Friday’s historic highs. Considering this Friday is OPEX – ahead of a three day weekend, we can expect considerable chop. On balance, orange gap should be tagged.
Ohh, and yes… it was amusing to see Goldman tout the $65s, as yours truly has been noting for some time.
Goldman Sachs $GS 🦑 touting $WTIC to $65

That number… seems strangely familiar. 🤨https://t.co/CbeL715FZu— Philip Calrissian (@Trading_Sunset) January 11, 2021
Those long SLB and OXY have extra right to smile about that.

notable stock: TSLA
Rough day for the Tesla bulls, but like the main market, its just cooling from historic highs.
–
notable stock: TWTR
In many ways, it could have been way worse for Twitter. The real problems should start to appear soon though. I’m guess perhaps someone will be able to extrapolate user numbers, if they track enough accounts.

notable stock: AMZN
Amazon just cooling with the main market. The decision by its AWS dept’ to drop Parler is morally just… wrong, and I will hope they have a hosting contract that offers the ability to sue for failure to provide adequate notice of intention to cease service.

Here it was mostly a day of grey horror.
I see background chatter that some want to move to tier’5… not that it matters, as the measures are all pointless. The moment they are eased…. the infection rate resumes upward. As a few noted at the very start… this literally has to burn its way through the populace.
I remain a spectator to a dying (if psychologically) populace, and I will continue to have ZERO respect for any of them, not least PM Johnson, who is increasingly retarded.. almost laughably so.
Regardless… I hope you are surrounded by far superior people.
Have a good evening
