It was a pretty subdued day in equity land, the SPX settling +1pt (0.04%) to 3801. Meanwhile, WTIC settled +96cents (1.8%) to $53.21.

WTIC daily
Summary
sp: Price action remains pretty tight, and can be expected to remain so, this side of OPEX. I would note the weekly 10MA at 3693… the bulls need have no concerns unless a few daily closes under it.
wtic: oil broke a new cycle high of $53.28, partly helped by a weaker dollar. With the $52s decisively cleared, its open air to big target of 65/66s… as Goldman are also effectively seeking.

Looking ahead

PF chart of the day
Computer has a reasonably bullish target of the $117s.
Computer has a bullish target of the $67s.
On any basis, I would favour AMD. I could almost understand the more conservative leaning toward the Dow component of Intel, not least for the dividend… with a current yield of 2.6%.

Final note…
Meanwhile… the Digital Kristallnacht continues…
Ron Paul has seen his Facebook page pulled…. I could go on… but maybe you’re more aware than I am, as yours truly is trying not to read too much, as its simply too depressing.
Here in the sick nation of the UK, there is now chatter of only allowing people to venture outside once a week, and perhaps only if wearing a medical mask. There is even talk of all shops being ordered to ban talking between customers.
Dare to sit on a park bench?

As was the case across March>May, its effectively a civil offense to sit on a park bench, or do anything outside that isn’t specifically ‘exercise’.
Regime leader Herr Johnson – which is how I should call him from here onward, appears set to threaten mandatory vaccinations unless UK subjects do exactly as they are told.
Mass sterility and/or a severe ADE reaction to the ongoing vaccination program, sure is an appealing scenario for the sick populace that surround me. You can think of me what you wish for that prior comment, but to hell with my nation.
Any nation that decides its illegal to sit on a park bench.. is a nation NOT worthy of survival. I wish everyone of them… nothing but the worse.
From what I see… the USA remains at least ‘moderately better’ than the situation on the eastern side of the Atlantic.
Goodnight from London
